In the Curral das Freiras valley, near the end of the route from Boaventura. Chestnuts and chestnut liqueur are the local speciality. We give the hours as approximate because sources disagree: confirm by phone.

PR 2 ends in Boaventura and this is the closest full meal after the descent, by the São Cristóvão viewpoint. Huge portions, the classic order is picado. Closed two days a week, so check before you commit.
