About
A Madeira PR trail catalogue focused on freshness and clarity.
This is not an official government website. The project collects public data from official sources and turns it into a practical planning view for hikers in Madeira.
Where the data comes from
Trail statuses come mainly from IFCN. Descriptions, photos, lengths and some difficulty information are based on Visit Madeira and the project's local seed data.
Fees and booking links lead to SIMplifica. Weather comes from Open-Meteo, while warning labels separate official IPMA alerts from the app's planning caution labels.

What is an app judgement
Labels such as “good weather”, “use caution”, “good to go” or dog suitability are planning aids. They are not official safety decisions or regulatory permission.
Transport, parking and map
Parking and bus notes are practical guidance, and current bus times should be confirmed in SIGA. The GPS map uses Madeira Pass/OpenStreetMap data and remains approximate.
Safety
Before hiking, check IFCN, SIMplifica, IPMA/ProCiv, local signage and real conditions. Closures, landslides, wind and rain can change the situation very quickly.
Known limits
- Some difficulty values are marked as estimated when the source does not publish a stable value.
- Some trail data may need confirmation in the official source before you go.
- Community ratings and private user markings are not official data.
Starting sources
Official and supporting sources
The app helps with planning, but make your final decision after checking official sources on the day of the hike.
